Im needing to know how to wire up a relay for headlights on a chevy blazer?

Question:I have a 99 chevy blazer that i need to hook a realy up too and i need some help. I have a Sho-me Headlight flasher hooked up to the high beams for a fire vehicle use. What i want to do is have the lights the flasher work at any time, now it will only work when the headlights are on. I would like the highbeams to wig-wag without turning the headlights on which keeps the low beams on also and is not as effective. I was told i need to wire a relay to make this happen and i dont know how to do this. Review Headlights work, flasher works when headlights are on only, i want flasher to work headlights on or off.

THe blazer is a ground switching system

Answers:
use a multiple relay
or consult an auto electrician.

Other Answers:
what you need is a 5 prong relay. you need to hook up a power source to the relay then to the flasher. also a power feed from your switch to the relay and a ground. in person i can do better.
It would appear that the power source for the flasher unit is commng from the headlight switch. You will need to locate this wire and connect it to a power source that is live, depending when you want the lights to flash use line is only live when the key is on ACC or ON so that when you remove key you won't flattern battery by forgetting to turn lights off
