Can slamming a sports car door break a skylight motor? Facts & Opinions please.?

OK. Quick question.

Someone get out of a vehicle and closes door hard or "slams" door, by mistake. Will this make a mundane, in fitting shape window step out of alignment or off track? And, would this rationale the window motor to break?

I'm trying to resolve a dispute amongst friends. One say yes, they did close door hard, didn't be determined to slam it all, the vehicle be parked on a slight hill and the door closed beside more force than expected. These are friends so there be no "fit" or ill will.

The other say her friend slammed the door, and it threw the window rotten track which in turn burned the motor out.

She requests the friend to pay over $400 to replace it adjectives. I disagree with that individually. If roughly closing a car door (older coup¨¦ too) causes adjectives that damage doesn't it nouns like nearby may have be prior problems or it was bound to develop regardless?

Please share your opinions or comprehension about this.
Thanks!

Answers:    If the skylight was contained by normal, accurate shape, it wouldn't have be damaged, unless the individual slamming it is like a world challenge boxer or something, but that's unlikely.
Since it broke, it was not within good shape in the past, so the passenger shouldn't have to settle for it.
Yes, it can do may things to the window, the pane regulator and even break the window.
