What size wheels can go on a standard punto mk2 without grazing the arches?

Question:
would 195 50 15 be ok, standard punto sporting are 185 55 15

any advice on alloys and tyre combos suggestions or sizes would be great, I dont want the tyres to have to be too lower profile so the rides too hard

how would the above combo be?

Probably best to stick with the 15inch alloy and the 195 50 tyre. You could go upto 17inch but it would affect you acceleration and unless you want to do work on the suspension and the inside of the arches you'd be wasting your time.
