Answers: They work well if you know how they are suppose to work.
Unlike regular pullover cable, you don't just connect the two cars and after start the car. NO. They hold to be hooked up and let the deceased battery charge for roughly 5 to 10 minutes.
But they are easier to use because you don't (a) get the hood plain (b) figure which wires go where, etc.
So unsophisticatedly you are trading simplicity for slow working / charging cable.

P.S. You can make your own cable particularly easily. But unlike the commercial section, you have to (a) manually disconnect beforehand cranking (b) have no charge indicator.
my mom have an x-power that has the fetuer but ive never used it cuz it have a jumper cable style item but i would emagine they do because i don't think the'd market um if they didn't work
