How do you get swrills off you car?

Question:
I was washing my car a few weeks ago, and tried to wax it when i was done...i failed and now there are swrills on my car where i tried to wax. has anyone ever done this before if so how do i get rid of them, they are really bad and look like crap...Thanks

Answer:
There are 2 ways of polishing to get the swirls out of sight. One involves the use of polishing that abrade away the sharp edges of a swirl. The other is by using a polish that fills in the swirls to make them less visible (although the fillers are oily and will evaporate in a few weeks, making the swirls visible again).

Abrading away the swirls is a lot of work or involves some machinery. It gives the best results but involves time, effort. Using polishes that have fillers is much easier but is temporary. S100 Shine Enhancing Cleanser ($9 at Harley Davidson dealer) is one of the easiest to use. Always wax after polishing.

You can also use waxes that have fillers themselves. Eagle One Nanowax and Nanowax Spray work well for this.

Good luck.
Try a little mild compound. Use lots of water and make sure the car's body is not warm to the touch (make sure the car is in the shade). You can also try polishing them out with Turtle Wax polish or Scratch remover.
Yea, go buy some anti-swirl wax at the parts store. What you do is wax the spot where you waxed last but use a reverse direction and then when the wax dries, they cancel each other out and you got a wax job. lol

You go buy some compound and do it right this time. While you are at it, wax the windows. Yes, I said WAX. Wax a strip of your front windshield. Then throw some water on the windshield. Made a believer out of me. Also if you have plastic headlights wax those too, expecially if they are starting to get dull.
apparently you are the cause of putting them in there, With that in mind I wouldn't try buffing the car with a scratch & swirl .

You are liable to cause more damage, Go to local detail shop. They can do an outside detail for around $80.00 to $100.00 depending on who you take it too.
