Do you wallow in doing your own sports car repairs?

I do not! I do it to save money. I did the brakes today. I have the repair book. But it was ROUGH WORK. Biggest problem, I am lying, sitting on the concrete driveway the in one piece time. The book was thoroughly helpful, but the ground is implacable. I wish I have a machine that would bump up the car more or less 3-4 feet bad the ground so I could sit on a stool and do the work. Ouch, I am exhausted.

Answers:    i first started doing repairs at the age of14 .the only time my cars are surrounded by the garage is to sit the annual MOT.there is nil better than knowing all the aspects of how your vehicle work .and surrounded by the event of a breakdown being competent to fix it your self.i too learned from manual.it does help considerably if you are competent to raise the vehicle as large as needed.get a obedient crawling board.padded.
I used to do tune ups, grease changes, even put shocks on once. Now I don't do much of that. I usually ruin a shirt, rake up a nuckle, get a backache or worse, so I of late let someone else to the work..someone who really know what they're doing.
