Answers: try this. while its running using a spray bottle or a can of starter fluid spray it in the carb. if it will maintain running while you do this then you own either a fuel filter problem or fuel pump problem. also be sure to set the adjustment on the carb for idle i belive but cant be sure but it mull over its all the track closed and then 3 or 31/2 turns to the right but not legitimate sure its been some years since iv worked on carbs. its a fuel problem im sure of but cant be 100 percent sure minus more info.
That could be a multitude of problems, go backbone start with the fundamentals like vacumn leak.
