Answers: lb300 is a little steep. The two sides don't enjoy to be done at the same time but the probability are that if one side has gone the other won't be too clever any. However I only do what requests to be done on an older motor. Which ball joint are they? If the lower ball joint then it can recurrently be easier to replace the whole lower suspension arm, that road all the bushes etc come surrounded by the new arm. Just hold out the old and within with the spanking new. If you know anyone handy with a spanner its really not a concrete job. Haynes regularly quote 5 spanner ratings ( Difficult job) due to having to drill out the old-fashioned ball joint and rivet or bolt in contemporary ones. Replacing the whole arm manner no special presses etc and so the spanner rating will be less. Try getting a quote for replacing the integral arm and just to sort sure price a lower suspension arm usually approx lb30 each.
I don't know, but a look through a Haynes almanac will tell you if it's a 5-spanner available job. Changing the passenger side headlight bulb in a Ford Mondeo involves taking partially the car apart.
i should deduce it would be more economical to scrap the vehicle and buy another with a few months MOT on it.
No it doesn't worths getting that sports car repaired(unless it has a sentimental value). dont take-home pay that money to get a 15 year older fiesta repaired. if it ran out of mot, give somebody a lift it to scrap courtyard, they should give u around lb30-lb40 bit metal value, or if u hold time and space and if the car is rust free and hold some good parts on it close to engine, gearbox tyres etc advertise for spares but dont chew over they will pay u more next scrap good point.
Good luck
