i own a 2002 chevy impala 2002 with the 3400v6 underpinning model and it started yesterday good and by time i head off work my car is have a really hard time going into reverse when i put it into R it sorta make a baby go into spasm and dose notta but just rev up when i supply it gas when i go to put it surrounded by drive it makes a awfully very small bounce and then drives fine not one problem im reflect on the other day i be coming to a stop an my brakes started acting up so i hit the e brakes slowing the car down speedily got down to smaller number then 6mph and it wasn't stopping so i put it within park at it slid and then stopped loaf for about 5 min's to confine my self and then drove straight home next to out 1 problem my dad thinks the trans might be messed up or call for a fulid change /flush any help out ???
Answers: you might have screwed something up by jamming it into park while you be moving, I would take it contained by and have the fluid and filter changed to start next to to see if that cures the problem, your dad is right.
