I have a rotor replaced on the driver's side, brake fluid changed and the front brake pads be replaced. A couple days after the service was perform, my brakes began making noise similar to creeking as if you were walking on an aged wooden floor.
I went hindmost to Wearmasters and was told my flipside drums needed to be sanded and that is to say the only tumult they had hear. I was not charged this time but again, everytime I applied the brake this creeking resonance would take place. It is also slightly loud....as I brake, people stare.
I freshly want this fixed properly. Can anyone recommend a service location that can actually repair this problem successfully? I live contained by Michigan. Anyone have experiences near Belle Tire or Tuffy? The reason why I am asking of these service centers is because they are unambiguous much later.Thanks surrounded by advance!
Answers: As much as I loathe to tell you to do this, you should walk back where on earth they worked on it until they get it right! If it didn't engineer this noise until they worked on it next something is wrong and they are your best hope of getting it fixed without have to pay any more, I see this adjectives the time, customers come to us after they have have work done by someone less qualified, and we enjoy to charge them to fix someone else's mistakes, this gives everyone desperate feelings...if they screwed it up clear them fix it right, then dont step back nearby anymore!
I would bring back to the shop that did the work. If that commotion was not near before, it is a moral chance that the work they did is the bring. Insist on them to troubleshoot this until it is resolved. Any reputable shop will garrentee their work....so push them to fix it and be firm!
my daughter lives in Michigan,and she have hers done at tuffy and they did an excellent job on her coup¨¦,she came to drop by me later on after this and they did what they be supposed to do,i would recommend going to them,good luck on it.
Poor competence pads engender noise even contemporary.
When you changed your pads, did you replace with the sole purpose the right rotor or both? If yes, why? And, did you turn the left one?
Take it spinal column to the shop. Have them replace the pads next to better quality set. Make sure the moved out rotor is turned or replaced before installing the brakes. Rear brakes usually don't fashion that kind of racket...
