Can a remote starter be installed within a 2004 Olds Alero?

I have a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero 4 door, AT, and its get the Alarm already on it but i want to get a remote Starter for it. what is a right Make and how much should it be to get it installed

Answers:    Yes it can, but General Motors have service bulletins on not doing it. It can cause intermittant no-start issuses becuase the remote start electrics it hooked up to the ignition switch wiring, by doing that, it can amendment the resistance value to the factory alarm system( pass-lock II) and cash the code value. I own had to remove a few of the remote starts on a few GM cars within the past because of this issue
Yes it can.

It's not uncomplicated, they need to install a bunch of extra parts to bypass the factory financial guarantee system.
