If it is the factory stereo, it should be covered. You would need to check your warranty for complete information. Some warranties cover everything for a certain amount of time/miles, and then the drivetrain for another amount of time/miles.

Even under bumper to bumper warranty if may not be covered. If there is any external damage to the radio or if some other outside influence, coins, liquids, could void the warranty. Also on some factory CD players have trouble playing burned Cd's. Its recommend if you use a burned CD do not use any labels. The Cd's get hot in car players and caused the labels to pull up and cause the Cd's to get stuck
