Hi Guys, I'm trying to do some superfine finishing work, but the 2000 grit sandpaper is still leaving chisel marks..what can I use to hold those marks out. There doesn't seem to be to be anything finer than 2000 grit sandpaper available.
Any ideas??
Answers: buff it, but your going to involve to do the rest of the car, not only that spot. We use 3m stuff at the shop, any paint store will stock the 3m. We use a orbital buffer, good luck this is adjectives it will take for it to look latest again.
use a wet and dry broadsheet the finest you can get and use soapy hose down it will give you a much smoother finish.
