Transmission shifts concrete from first to second?

transmission shifts unyielding from first to second already had the tap body changed and torque converter changed check engine light is also coming on.when wishy-washy is reset it shifts fine but once light comes on it will shift unyielding again.garage says requests total rebuild what do you come up with.

When we intially put the trans in the sports car and it was shifting easier said than done and horrible! But when my mechanic readjusted the bowden cable, everything was fine!
try doing a nouns flush or service. costs about $100 to take it done.
