Hello I drive a 2004 chevy Impala and everytime I do a U-turn or take a vanished turn,my engine keeps reving up but my coup¨¦ does not accelerate.Then once I straighten the gearstick the car kicks(litterally)into gear..I am thinking it is my C/V joint or half shafts.What do you regard? The fluids are running clear and pink,so it's not the fluids could be the filter maybe?
Answers: It could definetly be something wrong within the rack. The transsmission seems to nouns OK based on the fluid condition. If it be the filter, the fluid would not look right. Inspect the rack and pinion and CV joints.
What is the fluid height? Is there satisfactory fluid? My car other behaves resembling that on not enough trans fluid.
