I started the car beside only 3 spark plug wires connected, the coup¨¦ did start.. it started again after i put the 4th wire but after i turned it rotten it now wont start..i'm rulling out the fuel system bcuz i'm getting fuel as my spark plugs are drizzly.. can it be the dist. cap? rotor? coil? or the ICM? or could it be the timing belt (which I really hope not) .. I'm doing a 'do it myself fixing' so any accepted wisdom i can get would greatly lend a hand....
Answers: Spark plugs that are wet beside fuel will not fire. If the spark plugs are wet, you entail to remove them and clean them near some Gum Cutter or soap and water and consent to them dry before installing. Check the timing on the engine, to brand sure that the timing is correct, I have no view why you were trying to run it on 3 cylinders contained by the first place??
how fast is the engine cranking. if it is slow, afterwards you will need to charge the freestyle. check the distributer cap for cracks and inspect the points contained by the cap and rotor on the engine. look at the spark plugs for cracks and the crack between the electrode and the prong. if you still cant get it to run, send for a place like pep boys and share what the problem is and what you have done so far.
