Will we own problems: WE go 2 years/2000 miles previously varying our car's synthetic grease?

Mostly do short trips of 1 to 3 miles.

the oil looked ok, but feel some light grit at bottom of container that we dumped the hoary oil into.
(when we used regular grease, the level didn't drop at adjectives, until 5000miles/1 year later (yeh, should enjoy changed the regular oil sooner!)

OTHERWISE, how much grease should a 2002 car near 33,000 miles use (& no oil leak visible)?

Answers:    If you are going to be changing your grease to that kind of agenda you should start using Mobile 10000 mile oil i instinctively would like to vouch for the stuff i'm a mechanic and i've see the cars with 500000 miles on them and the individual special care be mobile oil
it should not burn much grease at all at 33,000 miles, only just a quart every 3-4 months or less average driving, if you only drive it a few miles a light of day it should not use any oil.
I don't chew over that you'll have any problems. Your coup¨¦ shouldn't use any oil or at most minuscule very little. If you don't want to coppers the oil that recurrently, then at lowest change the filter and attach a quart of new grease. The synthetic will last longer and do better, but you still stipulation to get the junk out of the oil container by changing the filter.

well-mannered luck.
