(UK) What does N/S/F and O/S/F stand for when discussion in the region of saloon wing and doors?

In simple terms please. I'm embarrased I don't know.. economically i sort of know.... but I don't know which is left side and which is right side.

Answers:    N/S/F = Near side front (passenger side)
O/S/F = Off side front (drivers side)
OK.Have a nice time.
N/S/F Near Side Front
O/S/F Off Side Front

An easy track to remember N/S/F is it's side Nearest to the kerb when the car is parked customarily. i.e. passenger side nearest the kerb (sidewalk, for our USA friends). So sitting in the drivers form facing forwards, it's the side to your left.
Hi. n/s/f = effective side front, which is the kerb side. o/s/f = off side front, which is the drivers side. prominently the same applies to the reverse. n/s/r = near side backside (kerb side) and o/s/r = off side reverse (drivers side). Hope this clears it up for you.
