I have a 2002 GMC Envoy near over 100K miles on it. Over the last few weeks, it seem like the steering is little by little getting "looser"--there is more play in the joystick before the steering in reality responds, and it seems resembling when it does kick surrounded by it does it all at once, making it thoroughly "squirrely" at highway speeds. It will catch adjectives at once and I have a sturdy time keeping it from overcorrecting. I know I need to nick it in, but I really don't know how to describe this problem any better, nor if it indicates a problem near the steering, tires, suspension, or something else? I really don't want to take it to the dealership if I don't own to; they always charge more than local mechanic, but I don't want to get hold of taken while they explore the problem. Anyone else had similar symptoms, or know how to diagnose my problem?
