1992 Lincoln Towncar re nouns suspension street lamp comes on?

How do you check the air suspension? The stipulation light keep coming on and a motor noise comes on when the vehicle is not in use. Not sure if the 2 are connected.

Answers:    This is a lousy system - the suspension bellows crack and develop leak. As a result, the compressor runs constantly - they do have protection but it doesn't other help, and the compressor eventually burns out.

I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE TWO BEING CONNECTED BUT I DO KNOW THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE A BUTTON IN THE TRUCK FOR THE AIR SUSPENSION AND THAT SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM BY PRESSING IT ..... I USE TO HAVE THE SAME CAR......
