Answers: Ford coils have a push on connector. Push posterior evenly on both sides to remove. Check for corrosion on the spade connectors. On the connector it will be marked "+" which will be hot when the switch is on. With a test wishy-washy check for continuity. The "─" side goes to the points.
Clip on a remote starter button on the starter relay by the mobile. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
Crank the engine with remote starter. If near is power on the "+" side then check the "─" side. The restrained should flash meaning the points are functioning properly. If the feathery stays on but doesn't flash, the point gap is too general.
The coil checks OK → then remove the coil flex from the coil & check for damaged or corrosion. Place a screwdriver surrounded by the coil & another to ground so there is give or take a few a 1/4 " gap between the two. Crank the engine, the spark should hurdle the gap. If nearby is spark at the coil, then place the coil chain back within the coil, hold the wire 1/4 " from a obedient ground, & turn the engine over again. If there is honest spark, then remove adjectives spark plug wires from the cap, one at a time & replace one at a time. There perchance some corrosion on the electrodes.

This an old truck. I not cogitate how the Coil is wired matters, but, I would connect it correct. I regard as it have a + and - and afterwards the coil wire to the distributor. A working Test Light can report to you if it get hot. Just touch to the + side and it should standard lamp. Normally the coil was reliable vertebrae in the afternoon. Once I did buy a bad condenser, but, the out-of-date was virtuous so I swapped it back. It not fire if the condenser unpromising. I will assume you say it not fire near either condenser. All that I judge that is departed is Distributor Cap, Rotor and Wires. Most everything you replaced, if it ran formerly it should spit or sputter now, but, if the wires get bad from sitting this may be the problem. If, you hold a car next to a good coil line that running use it temporary to see if you can seize something.
