I hold a 1996 chevy s-10 pickup and the furnace blower adherent starts sluggish consequently quits. Can i lube the shaft?

or does it need replacing? When i stroke on the housing it tries to spin, then slows down and quits. Winter approches and i am at a loss.........help out would be appreciated. Thank-you!

Answers:    Not likely. It probably a hermetically sealed unit. Besides, it's electrical & you don't want fluids contained by there shorting it out. You have need of to just replace it. The electrical bushing are bleak.
Previous answer is exactly right. If you want to be on the cheap side though(like I) you can waste more time and try to find the bushings and possible the bearing and rebuild it. time consuming, but cheaper.......next you just own to hope the windings are not bad or going to walk bad anytime soon.
