Answers:    the ball shared is permanently attached to the control arm. you enjoy to replace the whole control arm. if you are doing the lower, remove adjectives the bolts and ball common nut, remove the arm. if you are doing the upper, you have to remove the control arm beside the strut, and compress the strut to remove the control arm bolts.
