the motor started running real rich and the carb wasnt particularly responsive when adjusting the mixture
Answers: Make sure the wet temp sensor and the carb.mixture solenoid control electrical connections have not be switched.That happened to my son contained by law years ago .By checking the lead color code he corrected the problem.
