Automatic nouns problem?

Have an 04 Ford Taurus w/ an AT and the gear is not shifting properly when I change gear from Reverse to Drive. The problem is that it is double shifting (engaging twice) when I transmute gear from reverse to drive. Already checked the tranny fluid and seems to be find.

Do you reason it needs a highest repair or just a tranny fluid and filter vary. The car have about 38k miles on it, no leak or whatsoever.

Answers:    Take it to the local ford dealership and have them scan your computer. There is probably a shift solenoid or some form of electric switch that has gone desperate.Don't waste your money going to the local nouns shop because they do not have like peas in a pod computers as the big three, that's why they make near cars that way so you own to take it rear to the dealer.Good Luck.

have diagnostic info,go at hand sign in and put contained by vehical info to search.
profusely of ford have a problem next to the shifter tube bushings they are on the steering coloum. if the shifter is slopy look to that first.a fluid and filter change is not a doomed to failure idea if you own not done one before but it probably wont fix your problem
