Please agree or disagree... time to metamorphosis ECM?

I am receiving a code 14 on a 94 Celica. This is Code is for the Igniter, Igniter Circuit, or ECM. I own replaced the Igniter, Distributor, Coil, and checked the wiring. None of the wires are cracked or corroded. I am unloading spark because the car starts near starter fluid and runs until the starter fluid is gone. The car stalls capriciously with no rhyme or point. Sometimes will start, sometime will not... It seems the injectors are not firing. Fuel pressure is apt. Car ran fine this morning to the store and rear legs. Got in the saloon about a partly hour later and wouldn't start. Suggestions?

Answers:    sounds close to either a short surrounded by the wiring, or desperate ECM.. try wiggling every telecommunication you can find, while its idling, & see if you can produce it stall...
NOT REAL FAMILIAR WITH TOYOTAS BUT IN GM/FORD/DODGE THERE IS A CRANK SENSOR OR CAM SENSOR THAT FIRES THE INJECTORS AND SPARK DEPENDING ON YEAR /MAKE/MODEL. UNLESS SOMETHING MAJOR SHORTED OUT THE COMPUTERS ARE VERY WELL CIRCUIT PROTECTED WITH FUSES FUSIBLE LINKS ETC. I WOULD LOOK ELSEWERE BEFORE REPLACING A COMPUTER. 20 YEARS OF WORKING ON CARS IVE ONLY HAD ONE COMPUTER ACTUALLY BURNED UP BECAUSE JUMPER CABLES WERE HOOKED UP BACKWARDS ON A COMPLETELY DEAD BATTERY. GOOD LUCK
