Answers: Hi, Auto Glym Resin Polish ( Halfords sell it) is great on elder cars but don't use it on modern water base paints ie. under 10 years outmoded and especially Metallic. Use a good level Cloth and make sure that the cloth is soft (wash it formerly using)
my wifes car is an 87 so its 19
use a can of bondo and some paint
once a year so it pass inspection

Meguiars Tech wax is give or take a few the best stuff I've used .I have tried profoundly of them too.I use Meguiars wax on my 1975 Lancia show car,and it still have the original paint.It win it's share of trophies!
There is no best polish, its all down to the motor owners stamina and pride. Young or old cars paintwork will unquestionably benefit from a good polish very soon and again, the age of the car is unrelated. I myself being lazier but wiser use Pledge furniture polish, but never within the direct sunlight, its easy and produces great results.

If u dont wax alot Nu Finish is a great product. I enjoy tried a lot and it have worked the best I have used.

Not to sure what polish i would use IN older cars but ON elder cars is different So in elder cars use what you like
