Answers: Yes. A burglar entered the house by using a fishing rod of some big-hearted to acquire my keys from the corridor through the letterbox. It was 5.30am. I be awake and heard the nouns of the front door closing so went down to investigate, finding coats strewn adjectives over the floor. I grabbed a dressing gown and, knowing the burglar have only a short time ago gone and being hopping batty, went out into the street to see if I could see him (he turned out to be male). I hear a car start up and thought 'Oh apt, I'll get his registration number' - except as expected that it was the engine of my own sports car that I heard! I crossed the road and open the driver's door. Unfortunately, I did not think of grab the keys - from the look on his frontage he was somewhat surprised by my whereabouts. He started to pull out (fortunately slightly carefully) from the kerb and I had to move aside.
The police recovered the sports car two days later. It be covered in mud next to a few scratches within the paint, and the contents taken, but was otherwise OK.
In retrospect, I am horrified by what I did. I only imagine some other appendage of my family recounting such a story and think how I would be aware of about them putting themselves surrounded by such danger. At the time, though, I be driven by anger and indignation. I had to skulk for 10 days to get the coup¨¦ back while the police finished forensic work on it, and consequently a garage had to polish out the minimal scratch which took another week.
Yeah they changed the oil and occupied it up with gas and wash it, But it cost 200. to get it out of impound.
