I checked beneath my sports car today and found green fluid leak. As I be driving home the engine temp. be within red

I then checked underneath the car and saw a puddle of green soft. I put 2&2 together and figured out it be radiator fluid. I filled the radiator thrice (3xs) over a length of 3 days since it was in the vicinity emptyness. I have a 2000 chevy cavalier. What I want to know is did I overflow the radiator? Or the tubing go bad? Or possibly the radiator is shot? Any theory as to what I did wrong/should've done would be appreciated

Answers:    Since the engine temp be in the red and you enjoy a Cavalier, Please take it to a mechanic earlier you totally ruin the engine. It may already be too late, depending on purely HOW HOT it got. It is extraordinarily easy to crack a boss or blow a head gasket on those engines. Just to mention a few of the possibilities. At any rate, the seepage needs to be found and fixed formerly any major wrong is done.
Either the radiator or a hose is leaking.
Replace the leak part and don't forget to attach antifreeze.
