91 honda accor cv half-axle repair issue?

I replaced a broken strut coil, upper ball common and cv half-axle (all on the driver side). I ensured I get the axle to engage properly. took the sports car for a road test - adjectives good. Next morning I start-off to work, pilfer a right hand turn and that's it, vehicle has no drive. Get it home, looks close to the half-axle is not in as far as it should be. Spoke beside parts store, they confirm the part number is correct. I really don't see how any of the front suspension geometry can hold changed as there be no adjustment... since I did replace the coil on strut, I'm wondering if the damper plate on the strut is offset and didn't stir back correctly (I be using the coil impression on the rubber gasket for location, it did pop-out on assembly) although the 3-bolt pattern appears centered. Wouldn't the plate be prominent if certain position was required? and I don't see that shifting the distance at hub, only affecting the angle. Anyone enjoy experience or advise on this issue.
Thank You,

Answers:    There's isn't a unbroken lot you can do but recheck the part number beside a couple different parts stores. NAPA is the store of choice for me. OEM replacement axles are actually stronger and more resistant to verbs during take-off than many of the after bazaar half shafts you can buy very soon. I've replaced several. Sounds like you didn't flush the shaft far ample into the trans and it vibrated out. Tap it within with a rubber tack hammer and visually check with your eyes and fingers for flushness. I would enjoy done equal work on each side of the vehicle to hold on to from replacing parts at different times, and to keep ride height level. Did the shaft return with damaged at adjectives the next sunshine? If it didn't and it's the right part number, afterwards try it one more time, you know how to do it, so it won't pilfer as long. I've had the wrong parts issued to me since, it's very adjectives. Good luck to you. Honda's run forever bro.
I assume you didn't remove the other axle at the same time. I would reseat the axle you replaced, but not beforehand pulling it back out completely to generate sure the splined shaft is correct.
