My 1997 mitubishi galant runs very unpromising but i know that it can be fixed. my rms is below 1 when i start my car or when i am at a red pale and when i shift gears the car shakes. I enjoy also noticed that when i am driving and the saloon tries to go into second gear it shakes and feel as if it is about to stop but it shifts. Does anyone kno what could be the problem? I thaught i needed a alien transmission and a tune-up am i correct?
Answers: start beside the tune up - Plugs, Wires, oil modification, oil filter conveyance, air filter, fuel filter, and move about from there.
Do not construe it could be the trans. but a tune-up could help as it sounds similar to it is missing. Do you have impossible gas mileage? sometimes the clutches in the torque converter cause vibrations and this can be fixed by flushing the system.
