What tire sizes are compatible near my motor?

i have a 93 integra that recommend p195/60hr14 performance tires. i see some ad that have sale for tires that are p185/65hr14, p195/60rh15, and p205/60hr16. are any of these sale tires compaitble near my car? will any affect my gas milage? also, i solitary want to purchase two tires for the rear because for some motivation the back tires require single 35psi, but the manual say 44 psi, which the front are. thanks for any oblige on all these question =D

Answers:    try to stay with the size that be ENGINEERED by the oem
Only run 30 lbs in your integra. You can run 35 but it may be a bit noisy for you. Do not run 44 pounds. It will wear the middle of your tires out. Put doesn`t matter what it is meant to hold. if it calls for a 195/60/14 put them hindmost on there. But if you have/want custom wheel I'd reccomend talking to someone that deal in wheels/Tires.
Hello Rip City-Zen,

Good Question;
Many vehicle manufacturer recommend different tire pressures front and rear for their concert models.
The reason for this is that the engineers who designed the suspension system require that the front tires hold lower tire pressures to give the front tires more "bite" when cornering the saloon. You see, your vehicle is a front wheel drive saloon and because of this there is closely of weight distributed at the front portion of the motor. When turning at high speeds the tremendous solidity of all the machinery beneath the hood wants to step straight so you need the tires to deliver more road grip, the lower front tire pressures see them to do this.
I would strongly suggest you go to;

www.tirerack.com,

enter your net and model and "voila" you will find the absolute right answers, read customer reviews and see complete tire spec's and ratings of copious different tire manufacturers . You will really find some of the best prices around.
Better still nickname their toll free phone number (found on their website} and speak to a trained knowledgeable expert who does with the sole purpose tire fitment all year long.

Good luck,

Unless you are going to change wheel you need to stick next to P195/60R14 85H or 195/60R14 86H. The "14" in that description is the diameter of your wheel in inches. You can't seize a tire designed to mount on a 15 or 16-inch diamter wheel to fit on a 14-inch gearstick. Nor is it a good thought to run different sized tires on the front and rear of a FWD motor, especially if your only motive is to draw from something on sale.

Also, your instruction manual does not say inflate the tires to 44 psi. The correct inflation pressure for a 93' Integra next to P195/60R14 85H or 85V tires is 28 psi front and rear on GS models and 29 psi front and flipside on LS and RS models. It says so right on the Vehicle Information Tag inside the drivers side door frame. The inflation pressures you are probably referring to are the MAXIMUM (as surrounded by, not to exceed) cold inflation pressures printed on the sidewall of the tire. Again, just close to it says on the sidewall those are MAXIMUM pressures that focused tire is rated for, not a suggested or RECOMMENDED inflation pressure for your picky vehicle.
