It could be a loose lead in the switch. I own had like problem with mine. As far as the rough fallow goes it could be a plug fowling out. Most GM vehicle claim to get much longer plug duration, but they are making gas a lot lower category these days, and even though the octane is 87, within is a lot more impurity that can fowl a plug.
