I enjoy a 1988 Bronco II problem?

I have a 1988 Bronco II w/2.9 V-6 and Auto nouns.the brakes locked up and with the sudden stop, the nouns blew a considerable amount of fluid out the vent tube and slipped in and out of gear until I get home. After repairing/replacing the brakes, the reverse lights are on when I turn the ignition key. Is this the Neutral saftey switch doing this? Also, can I replenish the transmission w/fluid and re-check the nouns? I had not see any other leaks underneath the transmission, except the vent tube.

Answers:    Ususally the only time the fluid pushes out of the vent is if it get hot-I'd be more concerned about a clogged filter or cooler assembly than the reverse lights
I'm not a Ford expert by far, but I THINK there's a separate switch for revers lights put a bet on then.
Are you sure it be your brakes locking? The sudden stop wasn't the cause of the fluid blowing out the tranny. More similar to this is a symptom of deeper probs in the tranny.
