Hello i have a 1984 BMWs next to a M10. The car be lagging so i replaced one hose and fuel filter and it fixed the problem running really great. This morning going to work it wouldn't turn past 2000 rpm it would surge and thunk at 2k would not progress above. So I moved the hose around and it went departed 2k well but it started doing it on and stale. The hose is slightly longer then the resourceful. Conning output of the fuel filter so some metal thing that connects to the queue. Could that be clogged the metal thing or is hose to long. I dont chew over its the fuel pump.
replaced the hose that comes out of the fuel filter. Gas flows out. Same size hose just a bit longer. Same size channel too. no tight bends just a curve. Should I shorten it?
Answers: I'm going to speculate that the fuel pressure regulator isn't working right because of something you did to the lines.
