How do i replace the enthusiast resistor / regulator on my ford fiesta??

I drive a '97 ford fiesta. My fan is individual blowing on setting 4, not 1, 2 or 3 (the heating is working fine) and somebody told me this be probably the fan resistor which needed replacing. I phoned Ford part of the pack centre and explained this and they sold me a regulator. I presently have no model how to begin to replace this and be hoping to avoid using a garage, any help much appreciated, gratefulness!

Answers:    I'm not sure on the location but hey, It is a small car. The resistor is needed to cut down power to the lover to run at the lower speeds. So first start at the switch, (or actually, at the rear it) and look for the same slice as you have gotten. The resistor usually have 4 or 5 wire connectors on it sometimes staggered contained by 2 rows. If you don't see your part look for the 2 row connector.

2nd place to check is the lover motor area, above the leave behind. floorboard.

3rd is the engine compartment on the other side from the fan, go by. side under the windsheild.

Good luck.
