Can I use a parkinglot such as Autozone's to do my OWN grease amend?

I no longer live in a house where on earth I was competent to work on my jeep, so now I enjoy to find a place where I can translation my own oil. I am trying to avoid have someone else do my oil if at adjectives possible.

do places like autozone and advanced auto parts tolerate you use their parkinglot to do simple things like an grease change? i usually see relatives working on their cars there sometimes so I be wondering if you've ever seen anyone do that.

Answers:    Most stores are irrelevant to let you do that on their lots. This have to do with the EPA. If you have a spill, they would ultimately be responsible. For God sakes don't attempt the car rinse thing. If you obtain caught...fines and maybe secure unit if you spill. Find a buddy with a driveway you can use. If not, repay the extra $5 to $10 dollars and go to your local Jiffy Lube or Walmart and agree to them do it.

my advise....MOVE if thats not a possibility tho what i would do is goto the do-it yerself motor washes at darkness when they werent busy..i only really did it contained by the winter cuz my van didnt fit in the garage tho ;)
