I've got wires close to my exhaust downpipe (the really hot part) on my vehicle. Well how can I shield these wires from the heat? Is nearby some kind of warmness tape I can wrap around?
Answers: it would be in the region of cheaper to go and buy a worthy set of header wires they will with stand the grill from the engine,and the exhaust,and last closely longer ,their not that expensive and do hold up very very well,the wrap doesn't always final,and looks bad on them,worthy luck.
Parts stores or speed shops sell grill resistant tape or wrapping. It's usually best to tiestrap wires away from exhaust as much as possible.
