Ok. I drive my 99' Ford Taurus everyday and I haven't had any problems at adjectives. But two days ago, when I went to drive home from the coast, to my surprise, my car wouldn't correction gears. It started up fine like any other daylight, but when I switched out of park to go into "drive" it would basically slide thru the other gears like nil was in attendance. I can't put it into drive, I can't put it into reverse, I can't even put it into neutral. It merely goes into park. I have it towed to my house and here it sits. Starts up fine, but won't change into any gear. I popped the hood and have somebody try changing gears to see if I could narrate something wasn't working right, but nothing happen. Any ideas?
