Will the error codes P1684 and P1489 rationale for my 98 Dodge Intrepid to cut past its sell-by date while driving?

I asked an earlier answer for what these two codes be determined and got my answer. But I would approaching to know if these would be the cause for the motor to keep adjectives off on me? For example: I'll drive the saloon to point B and cut the car stale and then when I go and get back to the vehicle it wont start. It would take give or take a few an hour or so for it to start back up. Then while trying to drive it final home it will cut off while im driving. The other hours of darkness it cut off on the highway and I have my 6 year old and newborn surrounded by the backseat. I have not changed the freestyle beacuse it is still good, and the lights will still come on while its cut stale so I ruled that out. The battery be disconnected about a month ago so I figure out the cause for error P1684. I call Dodge and they said they didnt know what I was conversation about when I told them in the region of the error codes. If anyone could tell me the the foundation why its cutting rotten and not coming back on when I try to restart it me and my relations would be very relieved.

Answers:    The P1684 is a battery disconnect code, but it merely lasts for 50 starts, so it should've cleared unless you really haven't driven it 50 times since. Otherwise you could be intermittently losing voltage - no voltage when you are trying to start it would label it not start. Losing the battery nouns while driving shouldn't cause a stall tho, since the alternator is (hopefully) providing power.

Clean, check, and tighten the battery-operated posts and connections, replacing anything broken. Have the alternator checked too. Make sure the battery/charging warning hurricane lantern illuminates during the self testing when you first turn on the car (otherwise the bulb could be burned out and you own an issue you aren't getting informed about because the wishy-washy is out).

P1489 is a High speed fan control relay circuit error. Shouldn't explanation a no start unless you are overheating and your engine is shutting down as a result. Make sure the temperature appraise works and any temperature wishy-washy goes on during self exam, so you don't have an overheat lacking knowing it. (until your engine cuts out or worse).

These errors and your issues could also be due to low voltage causing bizarre failure. Again, inspect/service battery connections and enjoy the battery and alternator and mobile cables and the charging system checked and serviced as needed, own the fan control circuit checked and serviced as needed and hopefully that should fix the problem.
