02 Chev Cavalier - What is draining my battery-operated? Could it be brake lights coming on when coup¨¦ is bad?

I've been have issues since weather turned cold at nights. I basically bought a new mobile and my car still won't start some mornings! This happen a few times last winter, but have now start 5 times in closing 2 weeks. Usually everything is dead (no sounds when turning ignition) - but one time adjectives the lights still worked and when I turned the ignition it made a clicking sound. I've have alternator, ignition, starter and new freestyle checkd out - all looks honourable. I know that sometimes my brake pedal sticks a bit and the lights turn on at night (when coup¨¦ is off) - could this drain battery over dark? Can I try to fix myself? How much does a diagnostic fof electrical system problem cost (need cheapest, I realize there may be a short)? I'll bear any insights, thanks!

Answers:    If any of the car's lights are turned on, nearby is a power drain from the battery. Brake lights on while the coup¨¦ isn't running would drain the battery substantially overnight. If near was a 'short' likelihood are the circuit is protected and the fuse would blow. An 'open circuit' drains juice-something you don't want going on for long short your alternator recharging the mobile, like when the motor is running.
Why not temporarily block your brake pedal after parking it for the night...stuff a pillow or something suitable underneath the pedal so it cannot 'stick' down and accidentally light the brake lights. If this ends your low battery-operated problems, VOILA! you've found the problem. The sticky pedal can now be tackle as the true problem.

Good Luck!
sounds like to me that your alternater is fruitless its not charging the battery well brought-up enough while the saloon is running
