My 1992 buick skylark..im sure you seen my question about it earlier...is once again having "issues"....i replaced my nouns fluid (atf) but it still is having really large rpms i can drive at 30 let bad the gas and the rpms will drop down to like 1800 or smaller number even but the second i give it the least possible bit of throttle...it will jump right up to 3500 sometimes more if i floor it it shifts right until that time the redline as its suppose to but this is too rough for normal driving and im sure my mileage will suffer greatly..one individual on my previous post said it was a sensor issue..freshly tossing some ideas..this be a $250 dollar car that run and has no body harm and perfect interior so right immediately i am still satisified with it...adjectives help is appreciated thx...
Answers: Try looking to see if someone over tightened the accelerator cable... Should be on the top of the engine...
